Suzuki Katana Conversion
Suzuki Katana
Owner: Anthony Grainger
Fabricated by Metal Malarkey:
Frame: Widen to suit rear wheel width (190mm). Reposition uprigths. Replace engine mounts and spindles. Replace shock mounts. Brace subframe. Fit rear sets.
Supply gear change rod with rose joints. Supply offset sprocket to suit new chain line.
Swingarm: Fabricate and weld brace and paddock stand bobbings. Machine st/st swingarm spindle. Rear wheel spindle and spacers to suit Hyabusa wheel.
Shocks: Refirb' and re spring to suit. Length = -25mm, spring weight + 25%.
Move forward to suit.
Calipers: AP racing. Design and fabricate caliper carriers. Fit with st/st fasteners to suit.
Side stand: Re fit, re work to suit.
Electrics: Fabricate, fit electrics plate and battery tray.
Front end: Source and fit replacement taper roller bearings to suit. Remove ignition key boss and blend top yoke.

Frame bodywork: Katana 1100
Engine: GSX 1000
Rear wheel: Hyabusa.
Swingarm: GSXR 1400
Front end: GSXR 600.
Shocks: XJR 1300.
